    • He was appointed as the Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer in 1999. Subsequently, he was re-designated as Executive Chairman of the Company on 28 August 2008. He currently holds the position of Executive Chairman of Mycron Steel Berhad (“MSB”) and Melewar Industrial Group Berhad (“MIG”).

     

    Tunku Dato’ Yaacob graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Hons) Degree in Economics and Accounting from City University, London.

    An accountant by training, he is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.

     

    Tunku Dato’ Yaacob started his career as an Auditor with Price Waterhouse in London from 1982 to 1985 and subsequently, employed by the same firm in Kuala Lumpur from 1986 to 1987.
