On September 29, 1987, Maxene Eigenmann was born to actor Mark Gil and former beauty queen turned actress Bing Pimentel in Paranaque City.
Raised in a family with numerous relatives in acting, including her grandfather Eddie Mesa, grandmother Rosemary Gil, uncle Michael de Mesa, aunt Cherie Gil, brother Sid Lucero, half-siblings Gabby and Andi Eigenmann, and cousins Ryan and Jeff Eigenmann.
Throughout her childhood, acting was rarely discussed. This relative detachment from the family business may have contributed to Eigenmann's eventual success in the industry.
