The 19-year-old wears a sinahi when he plays to always remind him to stay grounded and remember his roots.
Lim has played baseball for as long as he can remember. As a young teen, he had a chance to represent Guam in international tournaments.
He pulled the game of his childhood into his adult life while attending school at Presentation College in South Dakota, where he is used more at pitcher than his favorite spot in the infield, at second base.
