Davood Roostaei (12 October, 1959 - 11 March, 2023) was an Iranian - American painter and the founder of Cryptorealism.[1][2][3][4]
Roostaei worked in both oils and acrylics, and while most of his oeuvre was made up of paintings he also sculpted and created drawings.
