Under the Vines is a New Zealand TV series with a primarily local cast of actors. The Acorn TV showis a dramedy that follows two half-cousins, Daisy Monroe (Rebecca Gibney) and Louis Oakley (Charles Edwards), who are bequeathed a failing vineyard in New Zealand.
With no experience in winemaking nor in country life in general, the pair have to work together and with the employees on the land to make the vineyard profitable again. Daisy and Louis deal with problems on the farm and problems in their own life while struggling to see eye-to-eye.
Under the Vines first premiered in December 2021 with six episodes and the second season premiered over a year later, in January 2023, with another six episodes.
